TORONTO (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index struggled for clear direction in opening trade on Wednesday, a day after suffering its worst selloff this year and after falling for three consecutive days.
Shortly after the open, the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX composite index <.gsptse> was down 0.21 of a point at 12,298.42. It had opened up 4.63 points at 12,303.26.
