Web Developer
ServerGrove is a leading hosting company for PHP applications and websites. We are very involved with the PHP community, supporting many open source projects and community conferences.
We are looking for a web developer to work in our internal tools like the VPS Control Panel.
What we are looking for:
- Experience with OOP PHP, PHP frameworks, Symfony2 specially
- Love and passion for Open Source
- Work on Open Source projects on company time
- Experience working with HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, jQuery and AngularJS preferred
- Strong emphasis on testing and automation tools
- Experience with Linux system administration and virtualization technologies
- Candidate must be involved in the PHP and/or Symfony communities
- Customer technical support over email & livechat is a big part of the job as everyone in the company does it
- Excellent communications skills in English. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to write technical documents for the Knowledge Base and the company technical blog
- Remote work is preferred (unless you are already based in Miami and want to work in HQ)
- Flexible work schedule available

Technical Evangelist
We are looking for an enthusiastic technical evangelist to join our team to help promote the our platform as a tool for PHP development.
What we are looking for:
- The candidate must be able to develop engaging technical writing about PHP, Symfony and teach our clients how to better leverage our products.
- Persuasive presentation skills to inspire students, startups and professional developers to build apps on our platform.
- Ability to create instructional screencasts about our products.
- Developing relationships with PHP community leaders and User Groups
- Passion for technology and PHP Software development
- Previous public speaking experience is required
- Candidate must be willing to travel
- Candidate must be involved in the PHP and/or Symfony communities
